Hey #SNKRLUVRS! This past weekend was SNEAKER CON NYC, and was the 1st time I myself ever went! There was lots of HEAT in the building, as well as a few FEMALE SNEAKER FIENDs! Take a look at MORE PICS and the vid!

Kobe Bryant is THE BLACK MAMBA!!!

Just in time for the NBA All Star weekend comes this short film directed by Robert Rodriguez about Kobe Bryant as his alter ego THE BLACK MAMBA. I don't want to give it away, but as you see in the poster there are guest surprises in the 6 minute film also.

Release Reminder!!! KOBE AF1 Foamposite / AF1 Low Supreme

Following the release of his Kobe Zoom VI (Rice) this past weekend, there will be 2 other pair from Nike in the Air Force One category coming out this Thursday 2/17..The KOBE AF1 Foamposite comes in an eggplant substituting for LA's purple with an icy blue outsole and black laces in black eyelets for $185. The KOBE AF1 low Supreme is a seamless, premium black leather with the only display of Lakers purple as an accent for the lining, tongue trim and outsole. These will be available for $135 and along with the Foamposite at select Nike retailers.

KICKS ON THE LINE!!! Royal Foams/Kobe RICE VI midnight release!

It was a great night of sneaker love! 2 lines for 1 cause! SNEAKER COP! The line for the Royal Foamposites was longer than the Kobe RICE VI line which was amazing because Kobe Bryant actually came out to Footlocker 34th St. right after his win against our sorry NY Knicks! Corny Collabo - Nike Hyperdunk Kobe Aston Martin edition?

Im not a fan of Kobe at the least..I think he's overrated, but obviously Nike doesn't! My guess would be having to keep up with the James'(Lebron) in having a sneaker in such high demand (Air Max Lebron VII). Limited to 500 pair and retailing for $550 later this spring (or pre-order at OSNEAKER). I do like the smooth silver, but Aston Martin? Thats a bit much! Their logo is only on the tongue out of view anyway! WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?
