John Wall X Reebok ZigEncore release

Sorry for the delay on this, but the posts to follow will explain why..GRINDING!!! On Wednesday, Washington Wizard's John Wall stopped by Footlocker on 34th St. to unveil and talk about his latest collab with Reebok, for the new ZigEncore which is a nice follow up to the ZigTech Slash. Wall invited kids from the Parks & Recreation Dept. and they all had on a pair of his new sneakers and apparel! HOT97 DJ Funkmaster Flex was on the 1 and 2 and asked John various questions about the shoe.

Available in 2 colorways of black/white or blue/white, these sneakers are lighter and more fashionable than the 1st pair from John Wall last year. The toebox is perforated on both pair; the black ones is nubuck, while the white pair is leather. The rest of the upper consists of leather and breathable mesh with patent leather piping on the black pair. Wall even raffled a few pair and gave up the pair on his feet, all with autographs!!

The epic moment at the event was when a kid got up to ask a question and did the Dougie for Wall, who is known for doing the dance himself; then joining the kid in the dance!! He drove the audience crazy with that! Check out MORE PICS!!!

Last night in London, one of the biggest sneaker events took place! The launch of Sneakerpedia, aka “The greatest sneaker archiving project”! Bringing together the world's biggest collectors, & influencers like DJ Clark Kent & Bobbito Garcia; who also had the party live according to Twitter, to launch what will be the best sneaker site out once it is officially available to the public. I made sure my girl Melissa from Footlocker was dressed for the occasion in a pair of my infamous customs & am now already archived in Sneakerpedia! SWEET!!! FABOLOUS @ Footlocker for his REEBOK CLASSIC REMIX Collection

I had the special privilege of going to see our favorite HIP HOP/R&B artist FABOLOUS appear at Footlocker on 34th Street to sign autographs for his fans that bought some of his new REEBOK CLASSIC REMIX Collections!! The street and store was packed with fans, shoppers, & people who NOW know who FABOLOUS is!!! I was able to ask him a few questions as well!!

FABOLOUS prefers high top kicks and is a fan of the REEBOK CLASSIC, so when REEBOK approached him about creating a sneaker collection based on him being the KING OF REMIXES, and remixing the CLASSIC itself, he was elated at the opportunity!!! Saying that everyone has owned a pair of Reebok Classics in their lifetime, Fabolous feels this is a great pairing for Hip Hop and sneaker culture! When it comes to colorways, Fab prefers a clean, white pair! There are 4 styles to the collection, and Fab had on the black/white TEJARAS. The one that Fab likes most is the SL7010 which resembles the Reebok Jam.

Everyone that knows me knows I'm not really into Jordans..I respect them, but I don't go all out for them to be in my collection..HOWEVER..when I saw these I thought, GOTTA HAVE THEM!! The classic Jordan colorway of red/black on patent leather, full grain leather, & nubuck is put together well on these kicks!! I like how they resemble the AJX as well and the plastic panel on the back of the heel. Look for these around October!!
